I am thankful for all the precious moments I have with Marrick, he is just amazing. I especially love watching him sleep, which reminds me of that creepy book where the mother stalks her son into adult hood and rocks him in the middle of the night. Dang this book is wierd, have you read it? It’s called Love You Forever; I get where the author was coming from, but it still freaks me out. Of course Marrick love it so I’ve read it a million times … I even sing the song at other times (yes, marrick likes my singing voice, precious babe). Here are some pics of  him crashed out late in the afternoon when I couldn’t get him down for a nap.

On another note, as a mother I feel it’s my responsibility to raise my son to be a good husband, so I have started him on chores already. Here he is cleaning the living room. Pretty cool, huh? His future wife will love me just as long as she doesn’t mind dinosaurs and Disney movies!

I really do have a charmed life. I have a great family, awesome friends, and work with some great people. Thanks to everyone for being so special and making my life what it is.  Much love!

Not much going on, just waiting for the holiday. Here are my updates for this week.

Laura – biopsy came back negative, no cancer in the lymph node they tested. Whew, I hope this means her fight will be a little easier.

Marrick – still cute, but spent ALL of Saturday testing me. First he flushed a wash cloth down the toilet, then we went out shopping and he was a pesky little turd the whole day. I even tried bribery (McDonald’s) and it didn’t work. Of course he didn’t nap yesterday either, so I had no peace to speak of. Let’s hope today is better. Last weekend he tried gymnastics, now this was cute.

Quinton – he is actaully managing a couple days off after Thanksgiving so we can go to Rolla. I love retail.

Me – I’ve had a few fun weeks at work. First we had a team outing (way too much tequila) and then we organized a festival of sites for our company. We celebrated and educated, it was a great success. After a week of feeling pretty horrible I actually feel half way decent today, maybe I will be productive !

The last few weeks have been rather emotional for me. My little sister Laura was diagnosed with skin cancer and was far enough along she has to go in for surgery to biopsy lymph nodes, as well as have chemo for several months. I’m just praying that her biopsy comes back and nothing has spread. Laura Lee is one of the sweetest people on the face of the earth and the fact she has to go through this just breaks my heart. I love you Laura and I’m always thinking of you.

Everyone tells me I should be proud, but I’m actually rather embarrassed by the fact I have just graduated college (granted I had a crap ton of credit hours and a couple AS degrees, but still!) and I am damn proud. The last year was a lot of work and a lot of hours away from my family.  I am so very proud of everyone else who completes their education no matter what their age in our class too. That said, I so glad I’m done. I can go back to spending more time with my family and cleaning house (did I just say that?). Check out some of my pics from the last few weeks in class and at Tanner’s when we celebrated. I got to know all of these people quite well and I’m going to miss them a lot.

Christine – You are oh so serious and yet funny at the same time. Thanks for being my comrade for the last year, power point presentation and bitchy comments … aren’t we fabulous!

Julie – I love your laugh, it is infectious. You too were one of my best buddies for the last year and I will never forget you. Good luck with math class and have fun with Doug being your tutor! tee hee

Janice - Sweet Janice, you are a quiet wonderful person. I admire you so much for completing your degree and wish you nothing but happiness. And damn girl, you got a great wardrobe.

Kelvin – Dedicated! You are a great student, father, and husband I can tell. Thanks for keeping me entertained and for the Muncho’s, darn they were good on the drive home from the bar. Too bad you couldn’t have been there. Good luck to you and your family, may your boys grow up just like you.

Vanessa – I’ve never met anyone more proud of their child than me … until I met you. You can tell Raven is the love of your life. Good luck in law school if that’s what you decide to do.

Kristy – Yay, you are the first to move on and get a new job … and the week you finished school. Rock on girl! You seem to have found peace in the last year, your life is coming together.

Remember – A corporate hippie! I wish I could have gotten to know you better, you’re very interesting , fun and sweet. I wish you much happiness. I also wish your hair on me!

David - Shy and soft-spoken, oh wait that wasn’t you. You are some kinda’ funny. I’m glad you could break in every teacher for us. Good luck with Sprint … uh, getting out of Sprint. Your yuppy ass is going to be CEO some day.

Mike – Good luck to you too, I hope you can get the heck out of retail. You deserve the best and will get it. You are so sweet and shy, but I’m sure a force to be reckoned with.

Kristen – Your parents can now breath a sigh of relief, they got their baby girl graduated. You are funny and skinny, dang where does it all go? I loved how you always gave it straight to the instructors! The rebellious side of you will soon mellow for you have nothing to prove. You’re great.

Brandon – The last year has been monumental for you, marriage, baby on the way, and college graduation. You will be great and soon find your way out of car sales pergatory.  Congrats!

Beth … I mean Beth Ann – You made me laugh the way you always corrected the teachers, you also made me laugh the two times I saw you drink a myriad of fruity drinks! Good luck in everything you do.

To the entire class … you’re awesome. I will miss our Thursday nights together, you might be better than Grey’s Anatomy. Seriously, could we have had a more awesome class? You guys are the best! Good luck everyone, keep in touch. Goodbye Friends

The last few weeks have been exciting and fun. Of course Halloween was a blast, Marrick ran wild through the neighborhood with Elijah (his best bud that lives next door) and I gossiped with his Mom. Here a few pictures of the night.

I will kill you with my lazer and then eat you!

No time for a post this week! I only have 5 days left of class and I’m FINISHED, not that I’m excited or anything. We’ll talk in a week, take care.
