My husband got talked into signing with a talent agency and had pics taken this week; I just had to show off a few … he is so handsome. Or maybe it was my sister’s amazing photography skills!

Last weekend my three-year old son kept me busy with his social calendar; he had two parties in two day that I had to take him to. The first one was for Cole Gibbs, who decided to grow-up too fast and turn four. We were in luck though, it was dinosaur themed and Marrick was in heaven. In fact, I think he was bit confused because he didn’t know which dino to play with first. Nickie, doesn’t it seem like you were just peeing on a stick a few weeks ago? Wow! The second party was for our neighbor Elijah, he is Marrick’s best friend and I’m sure he will teach Marrick all kinds of naughty things in the future. Not that he’s bad kid, it’s just that he is older and wiser in the ways of parent manipulation! We also attended a salmon fest at my sister Kelly’s house, quite delicious and I had left-overs for three days. Thanks Dad for the 50 lbs. of salmon you sent.

I went to NY this week for the first time, it was very New York! I had a busy schedule with a new web property we are partnering with called collegeclicktv.com, check it out. We are making a lot of changes to the site and helping monitize it, should be huge and I’m very excited to be working on the account. It couldn’t fit more perfectly with my video and web experince. Here is a picture from the offices, crazy awesome.

Jordan turned 20 this week, seems really hard to believe she is a young woman right now. We took her out for steak (Dan’s Long Branch … don’t go!) and then came back to the house for cake, it was a nice evening. We don’t get to see her enough. Here is a picture of Quinton, Marrick, and Jordan; please notice the dinosaurs that went to dinner with us! I also had to post this other picture because I thought it was so funny - yes, I gave a dinosaurs a shower. Enjoy my life in the Jurassic period. hummm, that’s kinda funny since I’m feeling so old.

My best friend Brenda had her baby a few days ago, yea. I’m having a host of emotions ranging from happy, sad, excited, jealous, and thankful. Mostly I’m just happy for her crazy ass for being brave/crazy enough to have another one at 42. Congrats on your beautiful baby boy Brend, I can’t wait to meet him.
p.s. Thanks goodness they don’t come out as dinosaurs!

Roar

Roar

If anyone would have told me my child would turn into a dinosaur when he reached three, I never would have believed them, but it’s true. My lovely son is now some kind of hybrid carnotaurus/t-rex, with a little velociraptor mixed in. I just call him a velocitaurus-rex. He communicates with a roar about 50% of the time and can’t seem to walk or dance without stomping his feet as hard as possible. He also is completed addicted to the T-Rex Cafe website. What happened to the days of spout online? (I never thought I would miss that!) If you need to find out what kind of dinosaur you have bred, go here ttp://www.dinodictionary.com/index.asp. p.s Here is a picture of just one of Marrick’s 50 toy dinosaurs … and it’s locked in a closet as often as possible.  Can you get college scholarhips for this?

As in everyone’s life we get too busy to visit family. I found this picture of a few of the Neely brothers and thought I would share. It would be fantastic if we could see them more often.
